Ben Owen is a microsound, multimedia, and print artist based out of New York. He has collaborated with a wide variety of other musicians including Albert Ortega, Murmer, Bryan Eubanks, Andy Hayleck, and many more. Rather than just filling it, Ben’s work is marked by his use of silence and pulling sounds out of it, creating a highly focused and engaging sonic environment. Ben is also the head of Winds Measure Recordings and Middle Press.

Asher is a Somerville based artist who processes recordings of acoustic instruments and field sounds. While often minimal and restrained, Asher’s compositions have the ability to evoke a wide range of emotions. Everyday environmental sounds and decayed piano recordings seem to flow together seamlessly creating something much greater than the sum of its parts. Asher runs the Sourdine label, and has collaborated with artists such as Jason Kahn, Brendan Murray, and John Hudak.

Jay Sullivan is a Massachusetts native and has been honing his craft for years manipulating records, turntables, electricity, and detritus to create unique layered compositions. Jay is also a member of the duo Skeletons Out (with Howard Stelzer), trio Ouest (with Howard Stelzer and Brendan Murray), and is currently working on a mail collaboration with sound artist Jeph Jerman.

DJ Ning Nong is the host of his very own Ning Nong Radio show every week on WZBC and has enough records to make your head explode. Expect to do some serious shoegazing.
